Very nice! I haven't seen you around in a while. It's good to know your reef is still doing well. I remember you had a very nice HW colony. Any pics?

I’ll try and get you a current photo tomorrow!

Whoa! How thick is that coraline?
Super colorful tank, well done man!

What pumps are you running? Specifically on the side glass.

Lighting?

The coraline algae is pretty crazy in the tank, I think for now I have given up on scraping it off the back glass. There are 8 pumps for circulation in the tank, two on each side (panta rhei ecm42’s) and 4 on the back wall. (2 tunze 6095’s and 2 tunze 6105’s). lighting is an 60” ATI powermodule with 8 T5’s and 4 LED units. Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.

Stunning!

Were you able to keep those blue polyps you had?

Those only seem to exist on the leading edge of new growth. Over the last year I’ve let the nutrients drop, and a lot of corals lost their flourescence. I started dosing NO3 and PO4 daily now and it’s pretty startling how quickly the colors are coming back. The homewrecker lost most of it’s pinks and purples but they’ve been coming back. It will be interesting to see of the next few months if I can coax some blue polyps back out of it. (I’ve noticed the blue coloration is the first to leave when NO3 drops really low). I’ll have to stop being lazy and break out the DSLR and take some higher quality photos in the near future.
