Next project after dinos go away is build a stand for the 13 gallon bookshelf display fuge

Gorgs, algae, maybe some rock nems and small bits of coral here and there.

Blew off rocks with small power head I use to start siphon.

Lights off, 7ml h2o2

Keepings lights off tomorrow checking progress then. Seems to grow mostly with lights.

Power to the reef kicked off today during lunch. luckily i am home. Something wrong with the circuit. currently on an extension cord to another room...

mine was doing that from condensation causing the fuge light to trip the breaker occasionally.

It was an outlet I replaced last year the neutral slipped off the receptacle killing the rest of the circuit

Question for the #Cronies, what temps are y'all's tanks at .

Reason I ask is I recently installed that larger sump and I think I need to upgrade the heater now. Tanks at 76 stable but heaters are both always on.

Also wanted to see the range this was probably a poll at one point no diff in tank looks other than the dinos showing up?

day 2 of H2o2 i think its making headway. I think the biggest help is the lights just staying off tbh.

I got a re up on micro bacter. Im doing clean and 7.

Glass looks clean rock clean. Going to put lights on low tomorrow for the fish to come out and eat

Then back off, shorten the cycle.

I guess im throwing everything at it. Most of the threads I've read on combating the dinos use them all.

no one really has a tried true method it seems.

Identify them with a microscope, then decide the approach seemed to be it.

I found them to die back more from lights off more than anything which has me going for black out. H2o2 is good regardless of dinos it seems but can help in the situation of the night water column spawning. and... microbacter is to out compete, and could help the tank anyways as well.

I too am fighting Dino’s in both my tanks for months now.Hate them! Got rid of them once but a month later they were back. Been using all the different methods and starting to see a different in my 180 fowlr.
