I've seen it listed as a type of leather a stony but not a spsyes it is blue ridge,but is stony coral,this is just from transport,frags bottom ,almost center

Yeah like an octocoral, it doesn’t have an internal skeleton like SPS but it’s a soft coral with a protective exoskeleton like beetles or spiders do. Very unusual.I've seen it listed as a type of leather a stony but not a sps
