Ok it’s been over a month, since the last full tank shot! I follow this thread to live bi-curiously through you on owning that tank.

Been a while since I’ve posted so here are some random shots.

Really impressed with the growth of the “Jack-O-Lantern” in the last picture. It’s starting to encrust nicely considering the cheap “black box” it’s under. SPS are all showing SLOW growth but that guy is coming along quicker.

It been probably about 5 months but it started out as a little chip on a frag plug not much bigger than this magnified shot.

It’s been a long time since I’ve even looked at my build thread.
Everything is doing fine but I did lose BOTH of my shrimp. They just flat out disappeared. I have one aptasia (spelling???) that I need to inject. It’s about the size of a dime. The last one I had, I just injected with lemon juice and an 18ga needle. Never came back.
I‘ll try to post some recent “random” pix tomorrow.

Well, I think I solved the mystery as to where my two shrimp disappeared to. Lights were just about to go off last night and my Wife yelled out what the heck is that? Right on the sand at the bottom of the front glass was a 7” Bristle Worm. They are nasty when they are small but REALLY DISGUSTING when they are that size. Pulled it out with the long tweezers and down the garbage disposal it went.

New shrimp coming soon. I have too many projects going on this weekend to get to the LFS so it’s going to be another week. Hopefully, there aren’t any more “nasties” in there. I’ve been keeping a close watch after lights out and all seems clear. Sure do miss my shrimp.

Been a while. Finally got my new shrimp yesterday. Just waiting for him to make an appearance worthy of a good photo!
Anybody who’s interested, this is another hobby that I’ve gotten out of and back into. My Wife and I have had a sweet spot for orchids since we spent time in Costa Rica for our honeymoon.

Hi! Neat little tank! I like nano’s too. Watch those thermometers. They fail and are wildly inaccurate (or accurate until one day they’re not). Think about using an ink bird for your heater. $20 heaters are a big a pool shoot as $80 ones these days and an ink bird can be an extra backup.

Wow! I never would have thought you could fit that much in a 13.5. It's really great!
