My new SPS Tank

I believe he took the tank down, something about moving
Pityful . After reading his account I decided to follow his rules: A SPS tank must handled as simply as possible. Important is light, flow, stability, controling only KH, salt, temp. Low N and Phos (?) And 15% water change per month! Sic. And Patience. I have since 22 years a SPS tank with ups and downs. Have done everything you can think of. Now i will going simple as possible. I am looking forward to be " tank of the month" in 2025

Man this was filling in good too! I will be looking forward to the next thread where you blow people away with simplicity ;) As always, well done!

Hi guys, the tank is still running but I sold almost all my sps.

Next week I will be in Orlando / Miami, I´m going to buy some new things for my new tank.

New house, new tank :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Hope to meet some friends in WWC / Orlando

Best Regards

Been a long time fan Roberto - and living in Orlando myself. Are you moving to Floridas to stay? If so, i hope we can make some time to talk "shop" - maybe over a Brahma? Some great Brazilian restaurants here... oh and my finance is Brazilian, so you have friends close by, ok?

Best Regards

Nathan

I have so many questions:

1) will you continue this thread or make a new one

2) will you continue with the aquaforest system?

3) will you continue with ULNS (low nutrients) or will you try a high nutrients system this time?

Translation into Portuguese

Eu tenho muitas perguntas:

1) você vai continuar este tópico ou criar um novo

2) você continuará com o sistema aquaflorestal?

3) você continuará com ULNS (baixos nutrientes) ou tentará um sistema rico em nutrientes desta vez?

Oh man! I'm so excited! Your tanks are always awesome!!

Hoping to see more of this new tank set up.
I loved your previous one and curious how this one will turn out.
Let us know if you would keep your progress here or in a new thread.

Hi,

I´m going to keep here. About aquaforest, I don´t know yet, but I´m going to do the same thing that I did in the last one. Same principles. Yes, ULNS all day long :)

@Roberto Denadai have you ever considered the Modern Reef System? I think in Brazil it should be available! It is such a nice system in my opinion!

We don´t have this one here.....Actually, I never heard about this system

I smiled when I read this. Thank you for responding. :)

You are my inspiration for acropora coloration. I just love how your corals look! Good luck!

I recently found out I had AEFW. For the longest time, I thought I was just having STN. It was a long struggle until I realized. Many of the corals didn’t die, but they looked patchy with tissue loss and polyps remaining, but then the tissue would grow back. It was very confusing.

I removed all the acros, and I am now 3 weeks fallow. :)

Is this the thread to follow or are you going to start a new build thread?

Thanks
