Sure. It’s growing so big it’s about to hit the insanity teni. I have to frag it very soon.

I received the 4 acropora for the separate grow-out contests in participating in.

This is day 1 of the colliderscope. I think the surrounding clams make this photo awesome, and that’s why I’m sharing it.

Acropora humilis. I’ve always loved these acros, but I never knew what they were called. I would see them in zeovit tanks. This is my all-time favorite acropora species. I found it at my LFF and asked an acro friend to identify it.

I always had problems with these and A. Samoensis, though many of the ones I bought back in the day were wild.
Some of them are amazing.

I guess, a lot of these thick short stout branched corals come from areas where there is massive water movement. They have to be clean with no detritus in the branches and they love high light.

You seem to do fine enough with everything else, I see no reason they won't survive.
And these will color up nicely.

Hello people,

I had a revelation today. It’s not the species that is my favorite (humilis). It’s the thick branches. To preface, I’m not very good at ID. I was looking online at acropora and I thought I saw another humilis. I asked, and they said it was a millepora. The one beside that was a tenuis.

So I reverted, but slightly updated, my opinion: My favorite acropora are mariculture millepora, tenuis, and humilis. I like when the branches are thick.
