Fuel is good stuff. Just check phosphates every now and then to make sure you’re not over doing it.

Yeah I will, I think it will be hard to with the amount of live rock I have in the sump plus siporax, skimmer rated for a much larger bioload and the cheato. But definitely will check it every once in awhile in the beginning.

How is the Fuel working for you?

Really good! Love the colors I am getting on some of the corals and the growth has definitely increased. I had my calcium reactor only half full and I just filled it to the top leaving the drip rate and PH the same and I am still lowering the PH to keep up. Everything is taking off.

Really liking the growth tips of the wild one I’ve had for awhile. Can’t capture the yellow it has.

The MattV Rainbow Envy has now taken over as my favorite coral. This thing really is insane.

Still really like this wild one too.

Not small at all! 6 more months and you gonna be out of room.

Thank you!

Yeah I am already regretting putting my corals so close together. I already have multiple bases touching. Im really liking the way the tank is going lately.

I took an idea from Copps and added Kydex to my back wall so I don’t have to scrape the coralline over and over. I just take the kydex out and put it in acid and swap it out till it is time to switch again. Really loving the all black back.

I’m getting three lyretails (2 female and a male) on Saturday along with two clownfish.

I just ordered stuff to start C02 scrubbing which will hopefully begin next week sometime. I am interested to see how a PH increase will help the growth of my corals and how it will affect alk consumption

Everything right now is going great and the new fish (3 lyretail and 2 clownfish) are doing great too.

I just read this whole thread and really enjoyed it. I'm in the process of setting up my 180 gal, SPS dominant.

Your corals are doing great, keep up the good work. Coloration is fantastic.

Thank you! Definitely have had its ups and downs but everything has been doing great lately.

Do you have a build thread yet? If so, send me a link and I will follow along!

Little update:

I got the KH Guardian yesterday so I am working on getting that setup, really excited for this. Going to just have it monitor for a week or so to see how consistant it is before I trust it to add more alk, etc

I also am going to be scaling back the calcium reactor a little bit as I do not like how low I have to have the PH in my chamber to keep up with demand so I will be starting to use kalkwasser hopefully starting tomorrow. I am interested to see what this does for my PH and also how the corals respond to this.

Frag tank is finally doing good and free of algae and aiptasia. I am going to be upgrading from a 40gallon breeder to a 50 gallon frag tank low boy once my LFS gets it in, hopefully sometime in early December. That will give me a lot more room for frags and some are for coral growouts.

Corals are still small but here is an updated FTS.

Photo is not clear from taking it from far with the iPhone, oh well
What kind of Trigger is that in the picture? It doesn't eat anything in the tank??
