Well I tried the carbon for the past 2-3 weeks and I definitely am not using it again. I had some burnt tips in some of my corals that always show decline first and also the PE just wasnt the same on the other corals. I just pulled it offline today at lunch so hopefully nothing else will happen.

I know that could be the only cause as it is the only thing I changed and alk has been very stable since I have the KHG and it has kept my alk between 7-7.5

Rox is potent stuff!

I added 1/4 of a cup with very low flow. I threw it out so I dont risk doing it again haha. I may try the bigger stuff next time I want to clear up my water, but at this point I am even scared to do that

Really liking this unknown. Has an orange body that I can’t capture with my iPhone with pink growth tips and white polyps on the growth tips too.

AquaSD Rainbow Milli. This one finally has colored up for me, obviously you can see where I just cut frags from today.

I am going to be adding around 13-15 azure damsels this week to my DT. Hoping they get along with the other fish and make a good active addition to the tank.

They were out of azure damsels so I am getting 15 yellowtail damsels instead and also a clownfish as I only have one in my DT. I dont know if I can QT the damsels as I only have a 10g so I think I will just QT the clownfish and put the damsels right in.

Do you worry about aggression?

I am a little between the damsels but all my other fish are large enough besides the clownfish but they should be fine. I also have decent amount of hiding spots and corals are getting large enough where they can hide.

I have 3 yellow tails in my Acro dominate 180.
They are a little smaller than the rest of the fish...but hold their own against the clowns, hawkfish, grammas and wrasses. They never have been an issue.
I’d like to try a dozen when we move and upgrade to a 340 or so.

Awesome glad to hear that. I am more worried about them bullying eachother more then anything but I am hoping with such a large number that it will be fine

so far they are all swimming together and look great. they all ate some flakes and frozen food too which was kind of surprising as they were only out of the bag for 30 minutes at max. Just hope they continue to stay at least somewhat peaceful towards eachother.

My powder blue tang flashed at them multiple times and all the damsels got really close together so that may actually help them stay peaceful with the big fish I have
