Little update
I had to remove the longnose, he was getting through (literally) my acros.
Back at the lfs for the little guy.
The copperband was getting really skinny so i switch to "pe mysis" for nutrition until he get to a decent size then might go to mysis/lrs.

I like the new scape, a little tight at some places... might do some adjustments at some point.
My kh and ca are back to some stability but the no3/po4 are sky high since mid december.
I’m going to let things grow until the system reach a kh consommation of 150 ml/day, pretty sure the loss in the coral mass explain the jump of the no3/po4.
Might go to weekly wc instead of bi-weekly until things go back to normal.

I had the same problem with my Copperband. Getting Skinny, and I was worried.
I switched to this CANADIAN HIKARI MYSIS which is much more meaty, and he is really enjoying the more chunky, richer food. Other fish too.

I did try the LRS before I swtiched to the Canadian Mysis. A bit TOO CHUNKY and it was poluting my tank since only the larger clowns to take it down, and the rest would go to rotting in the tank. CUC would get some of it but I wasn't happy.

Thanks Wally!
Will check it for sure.

Saw a review about this product recently on reef builders.
I used it tonight to mount a frag and i'm quite happy with the result, it's way easier than epoxy and less messy.
Does not stick to the nitrile gloves either.
So far so good!
This might not be the best choice for all kind of corals but it seem perfect for acros.

Awesome corals/tank! What about the change putting in new rocks and cement stuff? All good?
Thanks, and yeah the last addition went well.
It was not the best idea to cover the pvc holds with cement however, it tend to fell.
I do like the result and the fact that it's way easier to access and trim the corals.
The tank lost some stability in 2020 but i think it's due to the removal of many big acro colonies more than the change of the rock.

Now i'm about to start the work on a spare aquascape with the big rock i removed last fall.

A few others frags on the way.
First time i'm ordering from fraggarage, he's situated all the way to BC.
They should be here around the mid of the month.

front row: tyree pink lemonade, vc juicy fruit, hot pink latistella
back row: cc purple haze, rr wildfire

It's a fun part of the hobby to add new frags!
