Figured I'd go ahead and put up some pictures of a few of the tanks in my place :nerd:

First up is my main display. It's a 34 gallon, technically a red sea max, but as I loathe most of red sea's products (I got the tank for free, else I wouldn't have gotten it) I've gutted it and the only "stock" red sea pieces are the return powerheads, and the heater.

So 34 gallon tank with internal "sump"
4x24" T5 teklight geismann bulbs: 1-aqaublue, 2-actinic+, 1-pure actinic
2-K1's (main returns are two 150gph (I think) powerheads)
Tunze 9002
Eheim 2213: 1 chamber zeovit, 2 chambers carbon
ATO is a kangaroo dosing pump
Mixed reef with SPS, LPS, Zs&Ps, and a few shrooms
Yellow Coris, Mandarin Dragonet, Small Scopas Tang, Fuzzy Dwarf Lion, tiger cuke, bunch of different snails/hermits
Dose B-ionic, Iodide, Magnesium on a somewhat regular basis, other additives on occasion. Water changes happen at random, somewhere between once ever couple a weeks and once every couple of months.

and a few random shots-only the actinics were on when taking the pics, so some daylights will come another time

a couple of these shots have some hair algae in the pic, those are older pics, a couple sea hares were nice enough to help me fix that problem.

This tank isn't exactly just mine, it was mutually set up and mostly ( ) mutually maintained with my roomate, scubajay.

It's a 24X24X12"
4x24" teklight- 2 10k's, 1 pure actinic, 1 actinic plus
tunze 200 reefpak-tunze 9002, tunze surface skimmer (the 9002 only recently got put on, was running skimmerless until a few days ago-put it on mostly as the tank it was on didn't need it, and have been feeding this tank more)
3-K1s
Eheim 2213-2 chambers carbon, 1 chamber phosguard
ATO is a kangaroo dosing pump.
Has some live rock, rest of the tank is a 6" tall eggcrate platform, bellow which grows chaeto (which doesn't understand that it's meant to stay below and requires regular pruning  )
Dosing is same as display tank listed above
mandarin dragonet, small scopas (not true, she's becoming decidedly less small daily as she steals the food meant for the corals, in process of trying to prove I'm smarter than her and catch her. So far I'm not smarter than the 2 inch fish. My gf is helping to maintain my ego throughout this) and a green coris wrasse who assists the revive with pest control.

so looking at the "frag" tank above, you might have noticed it's lack of room. I did too, and Jay in particular noticed it as most of the frag tank was full of "my" stuff  so I had some spare flat surface, and a 20L laying in back, so went for it with another tank. No SPS in here, just LPS and Zs&Ps.

20 gallon "long" 30xsomethingxsomething else (inches)
current "nova extreme pro" 4x24" t5 (specifically using as it's MUCH less intense/bright than the teklights) 2 stock bulbs (1 blue 1 white), 1 actinic +, 1 aquablue.
aquaclear 70 with foam and biorocks
1- K1, 1 mini random brand 50 gph powerhead
Liverock, zero fish (hence the massive invert population which I'm fascinated by), some hermits and snails.
Dosing as other tanks above.

This tank has become the chalice grow out tank as the lack of fish makes it incredibly easy to feed the chalices. I have plans on hooking up another aquaclear as an ATS just to assist with nutrient export, just being lazy about finding an aquaclear in trade. Also need to add a tiger cuke.

this shot proves my comment about "found some flat space" (this is a serious issue in our place...even the kitchen counter has a tank sitting on it, and there was talk about custom making a tank to fit the L shape of the counter, this is why you should never room with a fellow addict)

One Jay picked up (even though this tank is "mine," it's used by the both of us to force grow small frags of chalices we pick up, I charge a small frag once the piece has grown, and I'm dang happy about the deal)

theChef gave these as a freebie in a trade, they've grown like nuts of course even though they're under no direct lighting

Another one of Jay's, he picked this guy up from Will at AquaSD

Have too many of these F&I's, I think the local community already has enough or something, no takers when I put them up for sale/trade in the local area, but I like them so I'd call it a non-problem

Thanks Scuba, i'm sure there's a few in there you think would look even better in an adjacent tank though :D (anyone reading this, PM him to get him to put up pics of his tank-he's got the nice big one in the place!)

And here's some daylight pics of things I only had actinic photos of:

I really like taking pictures of this micro for some reason. Something about it (and especially how much it's grown) just makes me really like it
