Hello all! I bought this coral about 2 months ago. It was thought to be a pagoda cup coral but now I am not too sure what it is. It is growing more then all of my other corals and seems to be thriving in my tank. Just curious on what it may be. Any ideas? Also, ignore the photo bombing by my Royal Gramma named Kobe.. He has come to love the camera!

Still looks like one. The extra long polyp extension either means 1) its really happy, or that its a 2) feeding response, or that 3) it wants more light..

Could be a combination of all three if its growing a lot

The polyps have been somewhat long for a cup coral when i purchased it. However, they have gotten longer over time. I originally had the light intensity on them too high because I also assumed they needed more, and they seemed to burn up a little so I lowered it, and they’ve been growing nonstop! I’ve never seen anything like it so I am unsure

Could also be a turbinaria judging by color , either way it's a lps so it'll react well to feedings.
