Yeah, under stronger blue light, the center is green!Palys for sure! Free coral!
What it comes down to is whether you want them or not. They will multiply. So far we can see the brown returning, which is the first step, and there are certainly brown palys out there. But given a lot of light, it's still possible they'd get some green in them. They could be nice palys, or they could just stay brown. Only stronger lighting and time will tell for sure.
I could do that. I also still don't know if I want things full of palytoxin in my tank. Ironically I wanted to avoid Zoanthus for this reason...I had some palys on my main rock scape and they took it over. I would just put them on a island rock in the sand bed and let them grow but make sure they don't touch any other rocks.
Once they’ve spread, you’ll never be able to remove them just a heads up. I had some mixed in with my zoas and no matter how many times I try and remove them they always return and smother my zoas for light.Another five days !
