I just cleaned the glass, it's ok for about 7 days and takes a couple of minutes!
The cyano in both tanks gives me a clue as to feeding, the puddle gets a lot of phyto, liquid food and a small amount of flake daily, it is all gone from the gorg and is slowly letting go of the yellow coral, I didn't want to clean it if I could avoid it.
There is at least one new baby head showing! :)

Those Sun Corals are actually an invasive, non-indigenous species in the Gulf of Mexico from Florida to Texas. We had a local diver that used to bring this stuff back in large quantities. They would have to clean them off of some of the offshore oil rigs, I would say by the ton. He had a 400-gallon tank loaded with this stuff and there was plenty of it to go around to other local reefers. I have had some on several occasions but never had any success in keeping it alive long term. Congrats on rescuing yours They are a great looking eye catcher in the aquarium.

I have decide that an inch is a size I will frag, these little branches are nudging 3/4 at the moment, I have a tray and rubble ready to go. ;)

The next time they get a food bath there will be be some tlc spent for a clean, recession of base flesh appears to have stopped. :)

This is off topic, but how do you get such clear beautiful pictures? I mean the lighting, detail, and clarity is amazing, looks professional. It’s like you capture the beauty of these specimens in a very serene manner.

Thank you for the kind words, I use a camera and have 3 different lens' to choose from.
I picture what I want in my head and then try to make it happen. :)
