Nano bristleworm eater?

I'm looking to add a fish to my JBJ 12 gallon nano cube to eat bristle worms. They're not out of control but I do have a good number of them.

Any suggestions for a fish that would do well in this size tank? I'm thinking a long nose hawkfish would get too large.

The inhabitants right now are a green and yellow clown goby. The yellow one being a bit of a bully to any other yellow clown goby I put in the tank actually. So I'd like to get a fish able to fend for themselves. Also the normal CUC of hermits and nassarius snails.

I've always heard that 6 line wrasses eat bristleworms. Biggest one I've seen was a little less than 3". Great little fish in general, very active. If a fish isn't available, arrow crabs will eat them too.

Never going to get a dottyback. Helped raise those at SA before. Mean little suckers.

Six line is also aggressive I've learned from the store I work at. If they it would leave my gobies alone I'd have no problem with it.

I haven't noticed aggression from 6 lines at my work nor do customers say anything about them being aggressive but everyone has different experiences. My personal 6 line isn't the least bit aggressive. What do you keep the 6 lines with at your work?

We don't have specific fish that we keep them with really. Just where we have space and where we think they'll be ok.

Honestly I can't remember what tank mates is in with ours at the moment. I work just three days a week there and the rest of the time at another job.

The reason I said that is because I was considering a six line over a cryptic wrasse for any future flat worms as well since they both eat flat worms as well. However that's when I was advised that they can be more aggressive.

May have to give the six line a try. They're much cheaper than a cryptic.

The only thing that a 6 line SHOULD be a aggressive with is other wrasses but with anything in this hobby, that's not always the case.

I have a 6line and my 125 and it does great. No issues with my tangs, clowns,gobies,or my CUC

I had a 6 line that got pretty aggressive till I caught it. If its going to be your last fish addition it might be ok but if you plan on adding any other fish I would advise against it. Everything Ive read about them shows that they are. Why are you wanting to get rid of your bristleworms? Unless there really large I think there more beneficial than harmful. Also gobies will be aggressive towards each other. You might want to think about removing one and add a blenny if you like the look of the gobies.

6 line wrasses will get aggressive with most fish it's own size especially in a small tank like a 12g.

Personally, I wouldn't even worry about the bristleworms.

A piece of pantyhose or lace and a cube of mysis inside will tangle them up... Just where gloves when you pull it out lol...
