I have a 29g, ATO, daily or semi daily water changes. Mixed reef. Snails and thor ambionosis (spl?). Trying to remove the bristleworms. I have a lyretail golden panda molly and an algae/sailfin blennie. I want another swimming type fish to accompany the molly. I tried converting a few more but survival rate was 10% (only the one survived).

Im having a hard time thinking of good tank mates. most everything either needs a larger tank, or will eat my shrimp (so it seems). I've looked at compatability lists and just having a hard time deciding. would like suggestions. Do not want sandsifters or burrowers, my sandbed isn't very deep and the last sifter/burrower I had buried corals and caused rockslides... as well as mounded up all the sand in one area....

My blennie is a bit of a butt head, so firefish is not likely to work out. bangai, ive considered, but wont they see my dancing shrimp as lunch? I thought mckosker wrasse needed 70g or more? I'm considering the clownfish... I know they don't need a nem, in fact my toadstool is perfect for them...

Thank you Pete... hope I get some more suggestions though

Depending on what website you look at the mcosker has a minimum tank size of 30-55 gallons.

I would not consider any Paracheilinus wrasse for a tank less than 3 feet in length.

But a Pink streak wrasse (Pseudocheilinops ataenia) or any Wetmorella (possum) wrasse could be a suitable choice.

I've got a pj cardinal I'd get you for cheap if we can catch him, and I'm close! Dunno if he enjoys bristle worms, but I have none...

My wife and I love the look of the flasher, but I would feel better with a larger tank and more sand for one of those... as for the possum wrasse... I read that most wrasses are not safe for the dancing shrimp....
