Yes. Baffles are partitions for sumps and they are high flow areas. That's where I had put my matrix when I had it, so I would think it would suit a canister quite well

And why are you saying that it’s not cycled ?

If your tank was fully cycled you should have zero ammonia and nitrite. Yes the fish are constantly adding ammonia, however the bacteria in the live rock in your system should process it as fast as they add it. How long has your tank been set up? It could be you don’t have enough live rock or other media for your bio load.

Not sure on the prazi directly to a reef tank....If I am correct, prazi will effect coral..@humblefish

Prazipro works in a reef tank. Did it twice. Just make sure your skimmer cup is up or off. A skimmer will over flow.
