I had a complete P4 system on the tank I just took down that included 2 of the 6E power bars, and 1 6 power bar. I am upgrading to a larger tank and I was needing 8 additional switchable sockets to turn on 8 sets of T5 bulbs (non-dimmable) so instead of buying 2 more 6E powerbars with 12 outlets, I bought 2 STDL4-4 powerbars which gave me 8 sockets.

I got the 2 new power bars in and before I shut down the old tank, I plugged them into the P4 and they powered up and were switching on and off like they were supposed to. I still had the 6Es connected when I did, so there were actually 2 channel 1s, 2 channel 2s etc. because I hadnt reassigned the 6E outlets at the time but the STDL4-4s were switching like they were supposed to.

I got the old tank taken down and I have been getting everything configured on the GHL including reassigning socket numbers. I got all of the 6 and 6E sockets reassigned 9-26 and I had planned for the 2 STDL4s to be sockets 1-4 and 5-8. I got every thing connected and the STL4-4s do nothing as far as commands. I have been reading the manual and the programming guide and I cant seem to figure this out. What am I missing?

1. Connect the STDL to the S1-S4 port (Sockets 1-4) or S5-S8 (Sockets 5-8)

2. Configure outlets on PowerBar to respective functions.

If you have a PB-6E already assigned to sockets 1-6, go to the PAB settings page and set the new numbering of this PB. For example, if STDL is on 1-4...the PB-6E should be assigned to sockets 5-10.

Nothing else needs to be done.

How do I configure the STDL sockets? I want the one to be 1-4, the second to be 5-8. I dont see where I can do it?

All the other PB6s I have have been set. The first is 9-14, the second is 15-20 and the last is 21-26

From memory you just click "Program digital powerbar or dosing pump" button, ensure ONLY the powerbar to be programmed is connected to the "S" ports and set an approriate switch number.

No! digital programming is for DIGITAL powerbar and DIGITAL Doser1. Do not use this with STDL4-4.
With STL4-4 you have nothing to program, just plug to S1-S4 for switch channel 1 to 4 or S5-S8 for switch channel 5 to 8.
