This leopard has been thru copper quarantine and now in prazipro quarantine. Related link below..

Prior thread

His fins looks damaged I thought it would be flukes which is why he is in prazi treatment since 6/22. Although he is swimming better but I still don’t see him eat or see the fins recovering. I’ve been dumping in live baby brine shrimp hoping he would eat something. Because since he is still alive and the last time I saw him eat was prior to copper quarantine on 6/6/25 so he has to be eating something correct?

Here is a video is someone able help identify what’s wrong? Thanks

Being in quarantine and seeing the haziness of the water, this may be a bacterial issue and I would suggest water changes and even a sponge filter seeded with liquid bacteria if neither are being implemented.
Prazi addresses flukes and worms and if you've done two treatment which should be 7-8 days apart, you can do again water change and medicate tank with seachem Neoplex to help with fin healing

Do you have a container of sand in the QT for the wrasse to bury in? That is one way they fight stress which this wrasse seems to be having.

Thanks I did a 33% water change yesterday but it’s still cloudy. I can do 100% wc see things improve.

I have a HOB filter with sponge. I have microbactor7 I can dose as well. I hesitated dosing bacteria with prazi since I read it may decrease oxygen in tank. But I do have airstones
To help.

Thanks I will try that.

Yes on right side of this 20 gal tank I have about 2 inches of sand for him to sleep in. I’ve had this leopard wrasse for over 2 years watching him changed sex into this color. He was originally a blue star leopard. I love this wrasse!

I don’t have neoplex but I have

PIMAFIX & MELAFIX

Do you know if these are safe to use with prazipro treatment?

I think Melafix would be the one to use right?

I dont even recommend these, best for ponds. They are considered tonics and made from Teak tree oil and useless.

Next best is Seachem Kanaplex. Both of these are tonics best used for ponds and freshwater as its merely Teak tree oil blends. Merlafix the better of two but wont do much and can make a skimmer go nuts

Got it thanks.

I can order neoplex off Amazon will take few days to arrive. Should I try melafix in meantime or I shouldn’t bother. I don’t have skimmer on hospital tank so that’s not a problem .

Try melafix with a One time application. Better than nothing.
