Have dad help you out with a pipe wrench or large channel locks to loosen it up. Make sure you're turning the right direction if you want to replace from union on. Otherwise you can cut the pvc pipe and add length needed with the new union and elbow.

Awesome glad you got it. You'll need to get another union same size then pipe to fit length you need and the end elbows again with the primer and cement for pvc. You're going to use half of the new union to replace part you removed. Glue the pipe to it then glue together the new end elbows. Easy peasy.

In the future, you can use two pipe wrenchs if your afraid. One to absorb your force and one to turn.

Bring what you took apart to hd or Lowe's n they'll help get everything. Just explain you want to build the same thing just long enough for your needs.

I don't know sizes from the pictures sorry. I'd recommend from pump to the elbows using reinforced tubing it'll absorb some of the vibration from pump helps with noise I think.

I also run 3 reactors off of the return pump. Just tossing ideas out there for you you can run the line to use later if you want.
