So what canister filter would you useMy personal opinion & speaking from experience, if you have room for a canister filter, I recommend a canister filter. Go with a canister filter that comes with a UV, 4 tray minimum. Good luck

This is a good option. For me in my aio tank I have no media. I just have my skimmer and purigen. If I had a canister I would do 2 biological filters, purigen, 1 mechanical. I'd keep some areas open in case you wanna run phosguard and other mediasNot taking over on GHOSTLY. I use Ammonia Phosphate Carbon media in mine they already have sponge filters. I use other media as well just look it up lots of choices in bags or bulk
