I have a question what can I do to encourage my hammer .to fully open up .I’ve tried moving it to the middle of the tank & to the send bed I’ve also tried adjusting the light & flow and still not opening up, it’s only been a few days since I got it. I also brought some Duncan and they all opened up. I also need help on coral placements

I would stop moving it stop with the lighting and give it some time. Mine is getting moderate flow.

Leave it alone... if you HAVE to move one more time set it horizontal with a bit of gentle flow. it may take a week or so for it to fully extend. Mine came out about half way for a few weeks, it wound up getting relocated due to some other placement needs. I put mine horizontal in a lower flow area with lower light and it extended in two days and comes out with the light schedule.
