I’m not sure. Could be staghorn algae.

About 5 years. They just look nasty

Red wire or something. Cant remember name of it but is very aggressive in the right conditions and will spread.

What can they do if out of control? How to remove it ? Do I just brush it off ?

Thats the one...+ side my yellow tang loves it.

I think it don’t really do anything to the tank I have it for long time, some time my hermit crab and snail will eat it. It just have a nasty look
