Has anyone ever seen neon orange coralline algae?

I’ve never seen coralline algae like this. I’ve seen red slim glow like this under blues though. Turn the whites on and that’ll help us.

I believe it’s due to dying coralline. I have a bare bottom tank and in the back it gets covered by stuff constantly. It’ll glow like this then gets covered again by fresh coralline. Poor pic but you can see how it fluoresces

Holy crap! When it dies it glows! Would love to see this up close! Anyone else have more photos to post? Would love to see a tank glowing in this.

Don’t have a pic but it can range from very bright pink to purple to red flouresance

It looks like it is on the shell of a critter who has been topside, out of the water.
This is what the top inch, near the rim, of my coralline looks like after a water change. The water changes happen infrequently, so the coralline has a chance to recover.

Some of mine has started to glow as of yesterday, I did a small water change. I was also going to ask if there’s something wrong with it when it glows, so thanks for the post

Arc reef says on it's site, orange is a shade of coralline algae
