My Neptune ATK slider keeps going from AUTO mode, to OFF. I am unsure why. Below is a copy/paste of its programming.

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If WTR_Lo OPEN Then ON
If WTR_Hi CLOSED Then OFF
If Lk-Dtc CLOSED Then OFF
If Time 18:00 to 20:00 Then OFF
When On > 005:00 Then OFF
Defer 000:10 Then ON
Defer 000:04 Then OFF
Min Time 060:00 Then OFF

I have 2 FMM modules. One is at the tank, and has the Neptune ATK High and Lo level sensors connected to it. And one is in the basement at my RODI station. The one at the RODI station only has the PMUP attached to it. This seems to have started when I added the second FMM and moved the PMUP downstairs. What I did was copy my programming from the original FMM, to the new FMM. I then deleted the programming from the original FMM. Over the past 2 weeks, I have come to see the switch moved from AUTO to OFF about 6 times now. I can't figure out why. To be clear, the switch moves from the center position, to the left position without human intervention. No alarms have gone off that would make this happen. Is it something in my programming?

The "When" statement is your culprit.

After 5 minutes it toggles the selector from Auto to Off.
Understood...But why? That is programming that the Neptune wizard did itself. The only
"customiziation" I have done to the ATK, is for it to not turn on between 6 and 8pm while the DOS does an AWC, and my leak detector shut down. For my own clarity, that line reads, in laymens terms "If the ATK stays on for 5 minutes, shut it down" correct?

Curious what wizard operation added that When statement?

The When statement is very unique in fusion. It acts as a circuit breaker with time being the reason it turns off. It's the only statement that will physically turn the outlet from AUTO to OFF and stop operating within the parameters of the prograaming in the outlet.

The time starts the moment that you turn it to AUTO. no matter the other conditions, once the time has elapsed, it will physically toggle to OFF.

The ATK task adds it. The timer starts as soon as the Outlet is in an ON condition and resets when in an OFF condition. This is so the ATO doesn't run past the set amount of time, 3 minutes in my case as that means something went wrong and moves the slider to OFF.

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If ATO_HI CLOSED Then OFF
If ATO_LO OPEN Then ON
If Output Maintenance = ON Then OFF
When On > 003:00 Then OFF
Defer 000:10 Then ON
Defer 000:04 Then OFF
Min Time 015:00 Then OFF

@Dr4gula.f32 can you post your Tree layout diagram with the FMMs expanded?

I get it. The OP needs to ensure that normal operation doesn't keep the pump on for more than 5 minutes.

Stopping the operation for 2 hours:

If Time 18:00 to 20:00 Then OFF

Might be the reason why it toggles off and it plays catch up.

If the OP wants to keep the When statement, then knowing how long the pump stays on after 20:00 would help determine what to set that When statement time to.

Also if it's turning OFF during normal operation, then it's possible that the high and low sensors need to be closer to each other.

The other thing to consider is that the pmup might not be capable of the head pressures required from pumping from the basement.

Sorry if this is a little bit off topic but I'm kind of planning on having the same setup as you where my main tank is upstairs but my ro-di mixing station is downstairs I'm just wondering how you connected those two modules so far apart

What modules? You can buy a 3rd party long USB cable that is made specifically for the Apex. These are not for PC / device but specifically for the aquabus. I use a 75 foot one from my office to my garage for a EB832 use.

I just wasn't sure how and what I needed to be running that separately all in the basement or what needed to be connected but thank you so much for that link for the extra long aquabos cable!

random thing here -- I have asked chat GPT how to program different modules on the apex fusion app -- auto feeder, lunar lights, CO2 scrubber -- and its been spot on so far and has worked with everything it has told me for what I was/have been trying to do

It should do a somewhat reasonable job as it is probably referencing Neptunes comprehensive manual. I would still encourage one to keep a link to the manual as it is actually good at what it does. Give examples and command structures. I would also encourage anyone using AI to test before implementation. Especially around any Trident controlled dosing and Auto Water Change.

Also Suncrestreef has a few tutorials that included images for some commands to make them a bit easier to understand.
