Hi, I am having issues with my DOS AWC this past week. It's programmed to change 1 gallon of water between 12-2am. The DOS is only about 2 months old. Past few days I have woken up to see the tank down about 1 gallon of water. I go downstairs to get some water, and notice the line for my AWC (remove old water from tank) hose is full of air. It should always have water in it. I come upstairs and look at the log, and sure enough, in the process of removing water, that dosing head decides it would like to spin the other way and pulls non existant water from my drain, and pumps it up into the tank. I have calibrated, and reset up the AWC still to have the same issue.

I do have the waste head (right) plumbed backwards. Hoses swapped, and DOS settings are set so that pump is an ADD, which now spins the correct way and allows me to calibrate without changing hose locations around. I did this change in setup this morning, and recalibrated the pumps. Prior to today, it was setup like Neptune states it should be.

I've attached below, pictures of my AWC log. As you can see, mid AWC, the waste head spins the other way and attemps to add water to the tank from the drain!

What is going on here??? I dont think this explains why the tank is low 1 gallon the past few days, but it IS an issue I need help with.

Thanks

Make sure you’re not having them reversed. I had my line to fill pulling in reverse. Do a quick check on them by using the button on the front.

I did the same, thought everything was set correctly. Double check with dry ends on the hoses.

That's already been covered. They are purposely set to be reverse, and I've adjusted the programming to counteract for that. Mid AWC, that head decides to spin the other way it seems. You can see it in the bar graph. The waste head is removing water, then the WASTE head tries to ADD WATER.

All I’m saying is that I had the same situation and I had to do a dry hose test to verify. I could t explain it but I switched the input/outputs and haven’t looked back.

I know you’re post was thorough, just offering you my experience.
