I have been using WAV pumps nearly a year, one on each side attached to back wall with flow facing toward the front glass at an angle. I am interested to know what would be the best speed setting?

- Should the flow vary during the day all the time
- Should the night time be less movement than day
- How to mimic something close to real reef current (and what that would be)

Started adding corals recently and plan to keep adding more, did some rework on rocks and placing corals over the weekend, originally i had minimal rocks in three sections with lots of space around, then i realized even thought it looked clean and nice but it makes less hiding spots for fishes so changed it to move everything close to back wall with lots of hiding spots.

See the tank pic and graph which i have currently running for a some time now. Thinking of increasing it.

I got 3 WAV’s on a 210: 1per side, angled towards bacK....one on back wall angled up...
I use every mode, with all 3 trading turns at peak every 3 hours...”peak/max” Rises & drops by 20%/hr each side of midday....
I use cheapo orbit powerheads On baCk wall pointed towards the bottom ...
edited to add: I’d get another Kessil or 2.
