Just wanted to see if anyone has gotten the new hydra 32s and if so how do you like them thus far.

One of the local club members has them and he reported some things that are kind of a turn off to them. He said they have removed some key features like cloud connect, manual mode, the kelvin wheel, WiFi connectivity, and weather effects and that the lights only have Bluetooth connectivity now.

Perhaps they will add these back later with firmware updates, but if they removed the WiFi transmitter for Bluetooth then there will never be a cloud connect option for this product line like the last gen lights had.

I also was wondering about this to. anyone know of the spread on these?

crazy about the above. I just got a prime for a nono love it. but only blue tooth no cloud that would suck IMHO.

I also here there as an issue where the fan runs all the time and is loud. might be a software fix for that tho IDK just what I have heard around the reef...

Just watched a youtube on 26 vs 32's and fan was extremely quiet, but other software items pointed out above are a bit of a turn off.

I have hydra 26 and I'm going to pick up a 32 tom, I'll compare and post

I am very intrested. I have the 26 Hd's

If it's Bluetooth only, how do you connect to control it without a smartphone?
