Hi guys I am new here and new to Zoa.
I Just got this today they it was on a piece big branch rock covered in bubble and hair algae so got them home and took a saw cut off most of the rock.
Hope this was the right thing to do I did not what to put that stuff in my tank.
LFS guy try to get me to pay 25$ for them told him noway ending up getting them for 13$.
This is my setup will this be good for kepping Zoa? I am hopeing to start getting some more soon.

First of all welcome to CZ!!
I agree with removing as much nuisence algae/critters that you can. The picece looks pretty clean in the pictures.
Your setup sounds fine for zoanthids also. Just start all your frags at the bottom of the tank with the 250 wt halides and work them up to their happy home over the days ahead.
As far as identification of the polyps that you have pictured I am not sure? Could be PPE wantabe's, Jokers? But they are a very nice p/u for $13.

Good to know I did the right thing by cuting them off most of that rock
and cleaning them.:p
