I never bothered to calibrate my cond prob. I thought the absolute number was not that helpful it was the trends in the graph that was important to follow. Please educate me and I will calibrate it

Out of hundreds shipped, only a handful are having this issue. I can assure you many of us are working through the holiday weekend to resolve their issues (or any others that pop up) to the best of our abilities. I believe even Elder received another reach out late yesterday so we can help him get this resolved. Despite many thousands of hours of testing there always seems to be a couple of things that pop up with a new product. We are doing our best to help the few that have an issue.
Elder1945.... I also got a new apex, mine was not reading the temp/cond/ph... I was just as upset as you. Contacted them last sunday and they quickly got back to me. They are replacing my brain unit. Growing pains. I was told by the cust rep they are working on getting these issues corrected. Soon we will see a new firmware update.
On how you approached this issue.... You have this big Apex logo on the stand and swear love for the brand, but called the product garbage without giving them a chance to help you fix it...im not trying to pile on you with this as you have enough on your plate, but you should know bugs happen with new computers.
Guys, I am a hobbyist too. I can relate to the pain some of you may be experiencing. I have been there. Check out my build thread on R2R on my 425g if you like.
To do a gut check myself I brought home a system yesterday straight from stock. Pulled out my alpha-rev system I have affectionately call "one". Installed the new one this morning and went through about 90% of my configuration work. Everything is working well so far - I went through many of the settings - WAV - DOS etc.
One thing for sure though if you are a new user and are reading this before install - make sure your first step after connecting to the home network is to do a AOS update. (Firmware)
how did you get 2 eb832?? I had to buy 2 full apex systems to get mine
I totally understand your frustration Elder. I have felt the same frustration across the years as an early adopter for Apple, KitchenAid, Saeco, Sony, and Nikon to name a few. It was not much of a consolation to me either that my problems were not the norm across the board. However, the reality is that each of those products where I was disappointed were very complex, new to the market products from reputable brands - and the likelihood of 100% no-failure rate would just not have been reasonable. For some of them they responded exceptionally and for that I still have confidence in them. For a couple of them it was likely my last purchase as they did not accept the issue nor did they respond in an expedient way. For me, that is where the real difference lies because there will always be issues.
