I just started very slow and still burnt a few tips. But that was probably more new tank stuff. I like the deep sea setting had the par like 250 or less just hit 375 ish the key was adding cyan to make the blues pop and fade out the uv cloudy look

Quick question are the lens on the led plastic or glass?

I have a Red Sea 1000 that's 210cm long x 68cm wide x 65cm high (83in x 27in x 26in).
Tank has eurobrace in the front and sides and has a decent size overflow in the center back.

Im debating whether to go with 3x204 (61cm x 47cm) or 2x104 and 1x153 (47cm x 47cm) in the middle (bc of overflow).

Does anyone have experience with these lamps hanging over eurobraces?

This will help me decide to hang them regular or front to back... and what sizes to get.

I have eurobrace on 48” x 24” x 24” and run 102s front to back. I think your tank would be fine with 2x 102s front to back on the sides and one 153 in the middle. Should be plenty of light in your tank being a little under 7’.

No, I think that would be too much. Although with my tank, I do get up to 100%. If I ever add a third 102 then I could decrease the intensity.

I have 2x204s over an S-850, coverage is fine with the euro brace. If I were in your shoes (and I very nearly was…!) I’d do 3x204s…. At worst, 2x204s and a 153 in the middle.

Yeah, I’d do at least three lights over an aquarium that long. I have a 72” and two 204’s just work.

I have been waiting on the 102's to come back in stock to order. Interested in opinions of those currently using them already.
Tank is 60 x 24 x 25 (150g) - new build but plan to be a mixed reef with some SPS, mostly LPS. I was planning on 2 102's. I know this is not enough for a full SPS tank but I believe it will be fine for my needs. I thought about the 153's but since they are almost as deep as the tank (18" vs 24") I thought that was just overkill in front and back coverage. 3 - 102's didn't make sense either - just overkill I think. If I keep my SPS away from the edges of the tank I should be fine? Thoughts?

Powerchords at the sides. Check my build thread for pics. It’s more pronounced in pics than in person but you can actually see how little overlap there is at the centre with them perfectly centred and equally spaced. I think you’d have to mount them quite high above the tank to get away with 3x153s, at which point you’d get a ton of light bouncing off the eurobrace.

And Im in LOVE with the clean look of the hanging lamps and even more with how the tank looks

I combed through this thread looking for an idea on how best to replace my current lighting setup with Stratons and ended up getting 2 204 Pros for a Cade 1500 peninsula (59"Lx29.5"Wx23.6"H) at ATIs recommendation for an SPS dominant system. I'm going to run them long side front to back (when viewing it from the end panel). They almost totally cover the tank that way.

I'm running Fluorescent+ during the ramp up, a short portion in the evening and ramp down. Deep Sea is running a majority of the day except for a "peak" period which is the LPS/SPS+ preset.
