New bta

I just got myself a bta. Acclimated him with lights off. Now he's in a place I can't see but his tips of him. Waiting for him to settle somewhere so I can feed him and at least get a pic. I'm thinking he's owes uncle sam back taxes.. My maroon squees in between rocks to play. Sorry no pic. Soon as he shows i'll post one.

I got him for $25 he's about 3". My maroon is a little bigger than him. He's not completely covered in the tips yet.

Dat, He will hide until acclimated to your tank. No need to be in a hurry to feed him. I'd try to keep an eye on the maroon to make sure he isn't being too rough, especially since the fish is bigger than the nem. I had a maroon and he killed three nems before I finally figured out it was him instead of me. I re-homed the maroon and I now have an ever growing population of RBTAs with a pair of True Percs. Good luck and would love to see pics! If he owes back taxes, the maroon might be the IRS and trying to collect...lol
