hey guys just picked this up today.......thought it was a chalice but the guy it bought from said it was a acan echinata.......still convinced its a chalice though!

Same here. Rotundo, and I too have the same one.
I want to answer you on how I can tell the difference and the truth is I am not sure what it is but you can just tell. The flesh and the eyes on rotundos are just different from chalices but mostly its the flesh is a matte type of look and the bumps are different as well.

put it next to regular chalice :).. Dont do it but rotoundflora is more aggressive than chalices
