No offense but with the third light over the center brace that shadow would drive me nuts. Is it that noticeable in person? Also, for a softie tank do you think two lights would be adequate?
No offense taken. I absolutely hate that brace! It's somewhat noticeable in person but the photo definitely makes it seem worse than it is. I wish we could just remove it but I know I can't.

The 2 lights for a softie I do think would be enough. We only have 2 on our 40 and the zoas have taken off like crazy

It's around an inch and a half or maybe a hair more. I had to really push the brackets down and pull off the orange rubber to get them on.

Weird as it says for 1” max frames
Crap I'm wrong. Just remeasured and it's around 3/4 of an inch. My bad. For some reason I thought it was thicker. My aqueon is definitely less wide, but they still work. I'd recommend putting something thin between the glass and the mount, or having a plastic frame on the back. Seems to secure it just enough to not worry.

Ok it won’t work on my tank then with the lip for a lid it’s about 1.25”

I have the tank mount. They fit fine on my Marineland 75, but the Aqueon 40b we have, they are just ever so slightly loose. Tightened all the way down, they're not going anywhere, but it's not a 100% snug fit on that tank.

I got the 2 light setup on our 40 now.

Have both tanks moved down to 65% blues, 30% whites for daylight.

I asked current if their presented par levels were with every channel at 100%, or lower, and what they recommend for the tanks.

I'll report back what they say.
That's weird I have them on an Aqueon 40 breeder and they fit fine.

These look nice! I have the full LOOP system and knowing I can just pull my orbits and put this up on my tank is a huge plus. I adore their customer service. Always responsive to any questions. The price is great too. When I get mine I’ll be sure to do a follow up here and share pics. Finally I’ll be able to get a BTA!

Just put up the third one over my 40 breeder. Huge pain in the butt mounting it because of my Synergy overflow and the wall behind it is an exterior way so had to use the stand mount and tapcons. Once mounted easy as hell to hook up to the loop. Also I checked again on my settings and it's 100% everything but white which is at 69%

So, I’m running the orbit marine dual on my tank. I’ll be replacing them with this light fixture. Can anyone give me their color schedule for the new one? I’m sure it’s not the same as the other.

currently this is my settings.
Only corals for now are my palythoas, a frammer (who’s trying to be convinced to be a host for the clowns) two rock flower nems and a very unhappy Goni. I’m sure they will all need an acclimation to the brighter lights?
