I’ve lost a lot of algae using this light. Diatoms are reducing in a alarming rate compared to their weaker current orbit strip. Can see growth on both corals and all of sudden my tank cleared up. Was cloudy for so long. Is there a possibility of a UV light in it?

I do believe they have one or two UV in it.

Oh they do that’s amazing. Hmm guess the tank cleared up cause of that. Hopefully might see some huge amount of coralline growth.

I was disappointed with the led strip. Promoted hair algae growth on my power heads, little bit on my sand. Had no hair algae on my rock. Lost coralline algae

I’m happy with the strips but looking forward to the upgrade. I keep the whites lower than they recommend because otherwise I get diatoms. My hair algae issue was from before the strips so I can’t blame them for that, lol.

I’m just not sure where all the reviews are the light has been out for awhile now and sold out on Amazon and their store. I’m satisfied with my purchase for now.

Yeah I plan to do an unboxing (photos, not video) and a review. From what I’ve seen here and on their FB page it’s pretty much 5*.

Update: added an BTA anemone which likes the lights on its full potential or else it would shriveled up and go inside the rock. My older current USA strip wouldn’t be able to keep an anemone. I’m not sure how’re people having success with those lights.

I did some stupid stuff around my corals pretty much moving everyone around and rip some corals apart. One of my mushrooms got attached to the rock cause of that it ripped apart and now it grew fully.

Nice catch I’m going towards a mixed reef. Got my first sps and trying to figure out if its getting the adequate light and flow. Algae seems to love it. The sps is opened up but doesn’t look the same way when it was in the shop. I felt like the polyps were reaching on the lfs. In my tank I’m seeing growth on sps.

I'm still absolutely loving my lights. I've adjusted mine to what Current has on their site. We've had good sps and LPS growth so far.

Hopefully adding a bta soon
Can you link me to their settings? Oh my green BTA loves this light hasn’t moved from its spot since I added it.

probably has to do with light acclimation
