New from Clarksville, TN

Hi everyone,

I'm a member of both North Tennessee Reef Club and Middle Tennessee Reef Club, as well as the VP of the NTRC. MTRC has a forum on here, and I've lurked here for a year or more, but finally decided to join up.

Nothing special on my end, but I've got a 90 gallon mixed reef (really mixed), and an attached 40 gallon breeder frag tank. Both are light with 6 T5s. I'll be starting a tank thread soon.

Frank, the weather is not too bad, but creating problems for people not used to the weather, that's for sure. We got more snow this morning, and it's still coming down a little bit. School's are canceled again today too.

I used to live in Indy, and would have to make occasional trips up to the Fort Wayne area! Can't really say I missed it though, I have family in Indy still, but I really don't care for the state as a whole, not really sure why.

I lived out in the Clarksville neck of the woods for 8 years, I still get down that way quite a bit. Let me know the next time you guys have a get together.....didn't ya'll just have a swap not too long ago ?

Yep, the Nashville crew had their annual swap last month, went pretty well considering the number of people getting out of the hobby right now, and it was my first time selling corals. I felt I did pretty well, especially considering I didn't decide to frag and sell until about 3 days beforehand. Broke even on the day, basically, and that was including buying a 40Gallon (predrilled) and 36" Teklight for a new frag tank and getting the parts to repair a spare return pump. Now with the new tank I should have plenty to sell at next year's swap!
