Sooo. I've only see that rock come from one place that I know of and and you must live in Louisiana and around the NO area. That has to be Coral Connection rock...... Right?

If you have been going to George or Dusty they wont lead you in the wrong direction. Personally even using live bacteria to start the tank I still wait minimum of 3-4 weeks to add fish.

In a couple weeks you'll want to get a clean up crew ie, snail, hermets.

BTW.. Welcome to the club. Glad to have you here.

Helllooooo and welcome!!!!

Until you are ready for livestock that actually need light to live, like corals, you don’t need to be concerned about your lighting with just fish. Light your tank for your viewing pleasure at this point. As others have said, take it slow and enjoy the experience. So glad you are with us!

Welcome to R2R -- thou might want to start a new thread with only your lighting question. Since yoy are new, this one had triggered your welcome, lol.

As previously mentioned, without vitals right now, set your lighting levels to whatever you think is most appealing for you to watch your fish. The fish don't care. Just add things slowly... let your sudden equilibrate to the new addition before adding something else.
