New LED setup

Hey fellas, I just finished my diy led retro for my bc29, the LEDs are awsome, one question tho, are the pots for the dimming control supposed to be hot to the touch? My pots are pretty hot even with the knobs on and was wondering if it's a wiring issue?

Are you using BuckPucks?...If so are they the 700mA or 1000mA?

They do get hot to the touch.
