Got a new wetside for my MP10 and at first I felt like the flow was low but then after some research it seems there is a break-in period so I just left it the way it is. After about a day suddenly I notice the ENTIRE wetside was spinning and kicking up a storm in my tank! Pulled it out and took it apart, turns out there was far too much grease on the impeller and it was in the other areas of the wetside. It was barely moving. Wiped it down and it's fine now (keeping fingers crossed!). Luckily I was right by the tank when this happened, If it was late at night it could have wrecked most of my aquascape and freaked out all my fish and possibly destroyed the pump itself.

You would think when you buy the most expensive pump on the market they would actually have some decent QA on this stuff. I mean imagine the markup on something like the wetside that's got no electronics. Pretty disappointed Echotech!

The electronics aren’t the expensive part in these pumps. It’s the magnets themselves that drive the cost
