receives this from another reefer, the day I picked it up, it has full brown color, within 24 hrs in my tank,
bleached significantly. I dip it before going to my DT, and it produced a lot of slime/mucus.

Do you think this is a lost coral? I have other frags put in the same time, they all doing fine except the Monti.

Thanks

for comparison, here is my existing Monti that is doing great. On the left, a small piece monti that I also received from the same reefer that also lost the color

Might save some of it with steady good parameters but that's not really the definition of bleached. That's stn... Slow tissue necropsy. Bleaching is when the tissue has lost color but it's still alive. The white parts you have there are missing flesh.

thanks, seems stabilize today, no more tissue losses, it happened literally within couple hrs. I am thinking maybe my dip was too strong? but the others that I dipped the same solution seems doing fine
