Only info; details, pics and videos. Honnestly they seem to be very advanced on the interface and device and I find it strange that he said I should receive test device only in may...

Are we talking about may 2022, or may 2023...

I got offer that i test new controller, this should happen in may this year, but nothing, its delayed....

If we talk may 2023, then there is still time

Ok, good news. Looks like he was talking about when he did request to send demo module; may 2022. So I should receive the module soon enough, and can probably expect commercialisation later this year! and he gave me the ok to share pics and video. I will do that later today

so, here is what beta version looks like. All hardware is ready as an upgrade to present version of the RS90 (just a board to replace in one of the lamp), but I think I understand that future RS90 will come equipped with wifi already...not sure if there will be 2 models; one with and one without...Tuya had some software issue with multiple lights control, but they seams to have it figured out now. As for the other testers, I am pretty sure he hasnt forgotten, just wait a bit more, he ll get in touch, maybe for second round of software testing. dont really know. But Im excited to finally being about to test it.

Ive just received a pair of these lights and they do feel to be a huge upgrade over the ViparSpectra V165 I had running on my tank. Early days yet but I'm liking it so far. Colours are great, but running with limits to let my corals acclimate.

I did have an issue with the arm mount, the top of the arm wasnt tapped (needed a 6mmx1mm thread), so I had to tap a thread it in to get the arm assembled correctly. I assume this is a quality control problem rather than by design, I nearly stripped the M6 bolt trying to get it in there before tapping.

I'm also very keen to see the upgraded lights with wifi. Tuya based is great. I've got HomeAssistant setup at home and it would be great to have that next level of control for the lights. Hopefully there will be a affordable upgrade path for the current generation hardware.

Hi Alain, Thanks for sharing. Looks good.

Can anyone tell me how the "Slow Acclimation" preset works on the existing controller?

I see in the new app it appears to work how I would expect (set acclimation time frame in days, starting intensity %), but in the current controller there is no reference to the duration, or what the current day within acclimation cycle is.

Is the Slow Acclimation just a 'dumb' fixed preset? The manual mentions 1-2 weeks. Maybe I'm expecting too much from this :).

controller (Turing ) light: acclimation is a fixed preset. No dim change. run it 1-2 weeks when replace lighting or water. Yes, it is "dumb",because it is impossible to setting to many things in a small scree and by keypad.

WiFi (Herz) light: acclimation is slow increase for a setting-start dim to 100% of the mode you choice.

there are three type of setting light
1, remoter version (we call Shannon), only sunrise->noon->sunset->moon cycle.
2, controller version (we call Turing) , there are wifi and no wifi version , but we stop the wifi version from 2019.
3, Wifi version( we call Hertz). only wifi. no release version in 2 months

I am happy to let alain get the first wifi sample and share the information.

would please may it possible you share some pictures of your tank.
I really do not think 5100K is too blue. Infact, I think it is too "yellow"

Yes, you are right :)
as internal test, we test max 15 units.

we do not suggest more because we worry that the wires can't be connected tightly (screw nut part in water proof cords ).
Meanwhile , the tank looks wonderful when there is more color level from front to back.
for example. there are 2 LIne ===
the front is more white and cyan ( CH1 & CH4) and no moon . the back is more blue (CH3) and moonlighting.
Advantage
1, Color is more layered
2, home near the tank looks not blue.
3, tank looks a little bigger.

I know that 5100k is not blueish, because i have it right now.
I wanted to know which led is more blueish on full blast, the rs90 or the T series?
I would think the T series is more blueish because of the 20.000k whites. The rs90 has 8.000k whites, so less blue in my opinion.

So better getting 3x 4 RS90 than 2x 6 Rs90?
I want to make 3 lines with 4 lamps.

RS90 is more blueish.
The T serires is W:B 1:2 -1: 3 . the RS90 is near 1:7

Yes, 3 lines will be perfect.
Line 1: Max CH1, and last open in the morning and and early close in the even
Line 2: moon and MAX CH3 , slow ramp and max lighing time in 24 hours.
Line 3: adjust the color you like. I suggest MAX CH4 and less CH1.( I like deeper blue on the background )

please also may install the light as this way.

So for a shallow reef, the T Series would be better?
i don´t want to buy 12 lamps and then send it back because i don´t like the color:grinning-face-with-sweat: sadly i can´t look at them in real life and videos mostly don´t show the real color.
And which T series, how many lamps and controllers would you suggest for a 200x100cm area?

I suggest 4 pcs T75 with 2 controller. it is 2 set of T75-2 (reef version).
