Tanks looking great Alain, coverage is better now.
and you had a tidy up :)
Are you using custom light settings as I am finding
the day/night cycle to bright for my new shallow Lagoon tank 14 inch deep. 24 x24" Coverage is great but there far to bright. Will also be putting them on my five foot, when finished and looking for some custom settings, high in the blue range.
I have easy s.p.s. Torch, hammers and softies.
thanks

I'm going to set mine up this weekend. I have a unboxing video that's not up yet but can say everything came packaged well enough. I didn't have any damage to my lights or brackets.

Woud please if the tank is new, I suggest slow accolamation mode which help coral slowly suitable for new envoirment in first 2 weeks. Then try the Vivid color mode with lunar moon.

If you want to more "Blue". decrease the Channel 1 and channel 4 in program mode.

Please how long hours you want to bright the tank in daysun ?

hope I had time to mess around more with the controller, but who thought having a baby was so time consuming?!
yes, the baby will not only cost you time but also patience and money, even the fighting skill :)

I even think my son is my best toy before 5 years old and my best chess opponent 5-10 years old .
Now, he teach me understand "what is life"

it is all worth it.

Enjoy it ;)

yes, I have 2 x 80w t5ho which I installed on my rack when I was rolling with the old maxspect to help on coverage. Now I keep them mainly because they reduce the shimmer of the RS90 (I prefer a more homogeneous lighting) and they help get light to those hard to reach space under my rock work. All my PAR measurement have been taken with le T5HO powered off.

It is a complete ripoff of red sea led's in nearly every way (design, the actual diagrams, etc.). It's incredible how much they copied.

and if by "diagram" you speak about the lighting dispersion diagram, I don't think there is any proprietary ownership possible on those. It would be like claiming a trademark on a cartesian plane... Many business use the same graphics to show the dispersion of their lights, its a matter of preference.

How have the corals responded to the new lights so far? I'm scoping out lighting options for my new 90g as well and these look promising. Do you think 2 X RS90's would be enough for a 4ft tank? I plan for this tank to eventually be SPS dominated.

everything is going great, growth, PE and coloration is very good. I am very pleased with how things are going. I plan to take some more pictures of my corals this week end to show how its going. Technically, you should be good with 2 on a 90. I have 4 on a 180. 72x24x24.

I got a green lypto and a war coral that are getting a bit too much light and are very pale at some place. The lypto will have to adjust cause he is encrusted on a big rock, but I want to more the war coral sometime soon.
