Hi! First time getting into saltwater aquariums, though I've been DYING to get my hand on one. That's been a dream since I was 15, and now I am 18, and it's a dream come true. YAY! Currently planning this nano tank with macros to start with, because that would have lower stakes than corals, so open to suggestions and advice.
ALSO, I've been aquascaping and keeping freshwater fish since I was 12 ( Big flex, I know ), so this is the 'level up' imo. Anyways, glad to be here and excited to get to know people and learn a lot along the way. ✌️

Greetings and Welcome to our collective obsession!!!

If you're looking for advice, I would encourage you to ask pointed questions under the many sub-forums available to you. All you're gonna get in this thread are general greetings from a plethora of members.

It's really good to have you and I gotta say I'm proud of ya that you've tackled such a complex hobby at your age! When I was 18, I was into playing music and coin collecting. I finally got into salt water when I was 28 (I'm 62 now). In those days they didn't have much in terms of filtration systems. LOL, I was running a 29g tank with an undergravel filter!!!!

I found fresh water more difficult. No clean up crews for one
