Hi all, I am returning to the hobby after six long years and want to build a small size tank (600x450mm / 24''x18''). I came up with these two solutions for the overflow box. Do you see any flaws in them and which of the two would be better? The only thing I am seeing now, is that solution #2 (inspired by Waterbox) might be annoying with the return pipe covering the access to the overflow pipes.

Alternatively, if you have any other superior solutions than these two, please share. Thanks in advance!

I think option 1 would work best for you. Option 2 is fine as well, however, if you ever need to get to the overflow pipes for maintenance, it would be quick the task.

Thanks for your reply! I am leaning towards the first option because of that reason. Also considering now having just one return pipe. Thinking it should be enough.
