Just got my first two acan corals, very excited! Just wondering how close they can be to each other? I know they are semi-aggressive to others but what about each other? They are two different types and admittedly I’m not sure what so I’ll send pics.

^ Agreed, the one on the left is a Lord and has very short sweepers, this means it can be placed pretty close to most things. The one on the right is an acan echinata, they are very aggressive and will pretty much murder anything around them, give them lots of space

Agree with Shep, except the Lord is now called Micromussa lol
Lol well its Micromussa lordhowensis, so lord still works and just like Pluto will always be a planet, these will always be acan lords to me :P ;Woot;Woot;Woot;Woot:p

Good to know! I may have overreached the limits of my tank with the echinata.....while it’s small I have room but as it grows it may get too close to others......hmmmm......I think when I was researching I had the characteristics of the lord one in my head.
