New to forums

Hello, my name is Jimbo.

I am new to the whole forum thing but have been in and out of reefing for the past 8 years.

I setup my tanks again around 8 months ago after taking a 15 month break to take care of family.

Recently I have been bit by the nerd in me again and decided to build all of my lighting. I have read alot of forums lately thought it might be nice to share some of my research. I will make a post in the correct area here shortly.

Thanks to everyone here that has posted info on lighting I have put it to use.

The lights that I am building is using the multi sinkpads using only crees.

I have to say the sinkpads are impressive. I opened an account with them and got a few different sizes that I plan on using.

I took a picture next to my note 5 to show a size comparison.

Im planning on setting up 16 royal blues using the 1966 boards using the small cp-c60 to supplement my uv lights. I am using cob bridgelux leds for my whites.

I am planning 3 rb boards 4 of the small ones for uv and 2 cobs.
