So, I have always been a person who likes Torches, Hammerheads, etc. I am thinking about getting a birds nest but can't really find any good information online about them and I had a few questions that maybe someone on here can answer.

What is the growth rate like on them?
Placement? Where should I put it. I have two AI Prime HDs on my reefer 250.
I'm assuming it needs some space since it grows kinda out and up?
Any other helpful information is greatly appreciated.

How old is your tank/rock? What are your parameters? How high are the ai primes off the water surface?

1 year old tank. Will have to double check Parameters tonight. I run the AIs maybe 3-4 inches off top of water. (Was established before then but moved to bigger tank)

Not to be “that guy” but there are two sticky threads at the top of this forum on this topic. Some great info there and in the reef chemistry forum.

Keep everything as stable as you can. Don't go changing lighting every couple months. Always have some nitrates and phosphates.
