Hi all. My name is John and I am new to your forum. Absolutely love my salt water aquarium...though not very good at it. I suppose things are going ok though. With the exception of pumps and such, I am a DIY guy...built my own stand and sump, retro fitted some t5s in an old compact fluorescent fixture and so on. Currently running a 120g display, 30g external fuge, 55g sump and an external skimmer tank. I do not get great growth of corals yet, but I have a few that have grown and the rest are sustaining. One thing I CAN'T grow is Cheato???? Anyways, just wanted to say hi.

Welcome to R2R John and the tank looks nice.

Welcome to R2R. You will find many tips on here regarding reef keeping. Nice looking tank. Depending on what you dose your tank with, chaeto may struggle to grow. Chaeto need a decent grow light and nutrients to grow. Good luck!!

That's a sweet looking reef! Welcome to R2R!

Welcome to R2R! Where are you trying to grow your chaeto? And what kind of light are you using to grow chaeto?
