Thanks. Help me...I want an anenome fir my show tank...everyone says it will walk around tank stinging my corals.

Can't be that hard! Have a pair of percalas and black ocelaris...they want a spot.

What can u suggest please?

LOL,How did you know my weakness is clownfish and anemones?!?!...LOL

No problem, the idea that anemones will walk around all the time and sting things is SO NOT TRUE!Im not sure why people think anemones are stinging monsters when they really are'nt.

So,if I were you,I would get a Long Tentacal Anemone, they are sand dwelling and a totally cool anemone.I have one who is 18" on his happy days.

Now,Im not gonna say they wont move around, but if we keep our anemones happy, they will very seldome move.

And how many pais of clownfish do you have in your tank?

Not a rose bubble?

Which do percales prefer?

Two pairs...percs are a bit aggressive to my black mail. Nit bad though...just first couple weeks together.

Which long tenacle? Fo

You can do a RBTA,no problem, but they split for 1,and will clone often, making it hard to remove them to just keep 1,they are known splitters and will reproduce fast, therefor causing less space for corals, and more anemones. With a LTA,you are able to keep 1 anemone that will generally not get larger than 12" in the average style aquarium,in my case,I have had mine for 3 years now,and I feed it alot,so its grown larger.

Clownfish will be hosted my any hosting anemone, remember clownfish arent the one hosting the anemone, the anemone is hosting the clownfish....

I would get rid of one of the pairs of clownfish, when they start to breed, one pair will wipe out the other, almost always happens.

There is no such thing as a diffiernt long tentcal, there is only one sp. of LTA

Here is a bigger picture of my LTA with female Tomato:
