Welcome to the Salty life and Reef2Reef!

Just a few things you should know that I learned the hard way:
  • Putting a banana in the tank is not dosing potassium.
  • Using holy water to make new saltwater is not as good as RODI.
  • Wives like covers on tanks but don't ask them to cover up.
  • Frags may look like giant trees in pictures in the wysiwyg sales but in reality the are coral seeds.
  • Coralline algae sucks. It steals your Alk and makes you scrape it off and covers all your gear.
Great to be here and I appreciate the tips!

oh and Hi JM, welcome aboard, you guys in S.FL by chance?
I’m learning so much too over here, and yep we’re located SoFlo near Miami. How about you? Looking forward to frag swaps as we build the collection.

Awesome looking frag tank, now you just need a little display to go with it ;)

Don’t forget to start a build thread with lots and lots of eye candy, Er I mean, pictures...

Will keep you guys updated once we get some content of the setup!

I'm really excited for all the eye candy as well. I went to a frag swap about a month ago and the bounces are what truly sparked my interest in the hobby.

That's a great idea to create a thread for our updates, thanks I'm gonna to do that!

Welcome and nice looking frag tank for a first setup. You should also start a build thread as a few other mentioned. This will allow you to log all of what your tank/setup consists of, also when you add things, change things, you can keep track of it. Not to mention.........

WE ALL LOVE PICTURES, TONS OF PICTURES.

To start a build thread, head over to the area below for all the info.
