Faitly new to saltwater tanks. I got a used 8 gallon tank to start off. Its nothing fancy. All it has in it is damsels, some hermit crabs, snails, and a emerald crab. In fact 1 of my damsels is M.O.A. Dont know what happened to it. Just gone. LOL. It was blue. I have some coral and live rock. The live rock is starting to get some color. I have a few problems but not much yet. Just a ton of questions. I'm pretty familiar with freshwater tanks. I have a huge Cichlid tank with about 20 cichlids in it. Most of them are actually from Africa. A few were produced here in the states.
I love muscle cars. Play xbox sometimes. Have a wife and 2 kids, both in college. Lots of dogs and 2 cats. I work at a major Ice Chest manufacturer. I fix machines. Love to actually go fishing in the bays close to my house. I collect autographed sports memorabilia and thats about that. Nothing else major. I am going to get a bigger salt tank at the end of this month. I think its 43 gallon cube.

Awesome! The more I see freshwater systems and some of the neat fish/plants that you can keep in freshwater... the more I want to set up another tank!
Its a bit more maintenance to me but, well worth the time and money. I have a big(probably too big) dry sump filter for it. It works well. It will suck the plants to it when the cichlids pull them out of the coral. Cichlids cover a huge area too. Many different types. The colors in them are spectacular. Just like saltwater but different. I'm really enjoying saltwater now.
